LAUSD School Board Passes Resolution to Grant Extra Hours to Cafeteria Workers

The LAUSD school board that we worked hard to elect passed a resolution on August 28 to increase cafeteria workers' minimum workday to four hours. The change means students won't have to rush through lunch or miss meals, and cafeteria workers will qualify for health care benefits. This victory is proof that through action we can continue to transform our schools and win improvements for our communities and ourselves.
